In a landscape where language learning often feels rigid and disconnected from everyday life, Arabic All The Time (AATT) set out to reimagine the learning experience to make it as effortless, immersive and enjoyable as streaming your favourite show on Netflix. AATT offers learners an on-demand journey into the Arabic language and culture, filled with story telling, laughter and cultural insights, all woven into one video at a time.

I led the design direction across brand identity and product experience for AATT, translating insights gathered from workshops and research into a culturally grounded visual identity and an immersive, video-first learning experience that makes Arabic engaging and accessible.

Arabic All The Time needed a cohesive brand and product experience that could reposition Arabic learning from being perceived as complex and traditional to becoming immersive, engaging and culturally rich. The challenge was to create an identity and intuitive digital experience that lowers the barrier to entry, and encourages natural, sustained language acquisition through a modern, video-first approach.

Arabic All The Time needed a cohesive brand and product experience that could reposition Arabic learning from being perceived as complex and traditional to becoming immersive, engaging and culturally rich. The challenge was to create an identity and intuitive digital experience that lowers the barrier to entry, and encourages natural, sustained language acquisition through a modern, video-first approach.

I structured the project into three strategic phases, namely research and insight gathering, identity development, and product experience.

  1. Discovery: To build a brand and product that truly resonates with learners and reflects the richness of Arabic; it was essential to first understand the deeper layers of the language and culture. I began with strategic workshops and collaborative learning sessions to understand the brand vision, target audience, and long-term product ambition.

  2. Brand Strategy and Identity Development: Using the insights gathered, I defined the brand’s positioning and personality - warm, culturally grounded, and globally accessible. This was translated into a scalable brand and visual system, including the logo, typography, colour palette, layout principles etc.

  3. Product Experience: With the brand identity established, I designed a video-first mobile experience centred on culture immersion and natural language acquisition.
