I led the end-to-end redesign of the visual identity, from strategic discovery to execution. This included defining a clear narrative, visual direction and a revamped visual system.

Owing to its business growth, Vertex seeks to refine its visual identity to align and reflect its ambitious market strategy which goes beyond talent sourcing and placement, to focusing on building engineering teams and developing products for enterprise clients. This presents a strategic opportunity to enhance its brand image and competitive positioning.

To support its evolution and attract both business clients and engineering talent; it requires a modern and cohesive brand that accurately represents its service offering, long-term vision and positioning.

  • We began with a comprehensive audit of Vertex’s existing brand — reviewing all visual assets, communications, and touch points.

  • Based on insights from the audit, we defined a refreshed brand strategy: clarifying the brand’s value proposition.

  • We moved to into visual execution: designing a new logo, typography, colour palette, iconography, layout/grid systems, and other visual components to articulate a modern, coherent identity. 

  • To ensure consistency and sustainability, we compiled a comprehensive brand guideline document.

  • Finally, we applied the new identity across all major touchpoints: the website, social media assets, presentations/decks, marketing materials, internal communications, etc.
